Your business needs a foreign employee: You have several options to obtain a visa and work authorization:
Permanent Residency and Work Authorization (Green Card)
This is the most flexible option for your employee: he or she will obtain permanent residency with a chance for citizenship. On our business green card page we will introduce you to the various options and conditions.
Temporary work visa (H-1B, H-2, H-3, J, O, P, R, E visa)
If a green card is not the right solution, you can also provide your employee with a temporary work visa. This will give you the possibility of filling a job for short or long term. On our temporary work visa page we will introduce you to the possibilities to fill a job with a temporary employee.
Multinational managers and specialists (L and E visa and green card)
If you are a multinational company or a subsidiary, affiliate or similar of one, you may have the option to obtain a green card or a temporary work visa for your executives, managers and selected specialist employees. On our management page you will find the details.
Trainees and interns (B, F, M or J visa)
There are also several possibilities to enable foreigners to obtain professional experience or education in your company. Read more about these options on our student and trainee page.
Investors and Traders
If you made or plan to make a substantial investment in the United States, for example, open your own business, or if you are engaged in international trade, you might qualify for an investor green card or a temporary investor or trader visa (E-1, E-2 visa). Please read our investor page.
Canadian and Mexican professionals (TN visa)
Under NAFTA certain Canadian or Mexican professionals can obtain a work visa under relaxed conditions.
